I just learned about the MiQi, it looks very promising and I'd love to put my hands on a couple of these. Over at the Planet 3DNow! BOINC team we already have around 100 ARM boards computing for science, numbers growing rapidly by the day. Currently Odroid XU4 and C2 are favored, they run Linux and offer good to very good performance.
Lately I was very satisfied with the performance of an RK3288 based Android TV box (50-100% faster than the C2), but managing farms of Androids remotely is a nightmare. An RK3288 based board running a stable Linux with BOINC will find many customers, in our team and elsewhere.
I see that the Indiegogo campaign is closed, unfortunately without reaching the funding target :-/
Is the board still being produced?
If so, will both versions be available from start?
I'd really love to add these to my fleet and hope you don't get discouraged by the funding result. I'm very sure there there is a market for such high performance boards.
