These drivers are really nice for X11, but might cause trouble with wayland/weston. Try them first. If that fails, try the procedure I described earlier.
Also note that, without proper udev rules, the
/dev/mali0 will only be accessible as root. Meaning that running EGL tests as user, you'll get a 'no proper Mali GPU found' kind-of error. This generally translates to "I don't have the rights to read
/dev/mali0". A quick-fix is to
chmod 0666 /dev/mali0 .
A better fix is to set a group for
0660 rights and add your user to this group.
